It doesn't have original gin. It's just a flavoured chocolate. I don't recommend it at all
This is the only Paul and Mike’s bar that I haven’t liked. It could be that I had too many G&Ts in my youth, because the smell of the gin immediately put me off. The bar doesn’t taste like gin though, thank goodness. Rum is a much better flavour match with chocolate than gin, which might explain why the latter is so rare (indeed, I’ve never seen another gin flavoured chocolate bar). I was willing to try this flavour because I love the combo of ginger and chocolate, and of course, the name “Gin and Ginger” was too fun to pass up… But I will pass on this flavour next time.
Loved the citrusy taste of the chocolate with the sweet and spicy kick of ginger following it. Could be personal preference, but I think a stronger ginger flavour will complement the freshness of the gin beautifully!

Yes, the chocolate can easily melt at room temperature, so it would be better to keep it refrigerated. But to experience the flavour complexity of our chocolates, we recommend consuming them at room temperature.
